American Spirit

In 2002, I dove into this pattern by Judy Martin.  I finished this quilt quickly by my standards because I enjoyed using up a collection of civil war prints.  It was abouot this time that I chose my border fabric after the top was pieced.  This practice is customary for me now.  Machine quilted by Sara Peterson.
