Churn Dash Border

I am more comfortable with piecing with my machine.  The churn dash blocks are just so cute.  The blocks measure three inches finished so you know that the pieces are tiny.  It helps to constantly measure, measure, and measure some more.  Maybe applique is easier...hmmm.

I mentioned that some pieces are tiny.  Did I say that the striped borders are also tiny?  They measure at half an inch.  

I wish I could have found a way to make the skinny borders bigger.  But too much progress had been made to change anything.  On to the checkerboard.
